Machine learning is coming up as a new boom in the market. I guess its getting mingled with almost everything, be it data mining or making artificial limbs or analyzing the Hubble telescope images. Every field today in computer science is getting up mixed up so badly that its getting hard to decide where to start from. So I am posting some resources for starting out with machine learning. Hope someone will find these useful. I'll keep on updating the list.
- Andrew Ng course on machine learning. This is an introductory course on ML. Many winners of the competitions on Kaggle said they did this course.
- Abu Yasir Mostafa's course on Machine Learning. I personally feel this one to be more introductory than the Andrew Ng's course. If you have time then go for it first.
- Geoffery Hinton's course on Neural Networks is also good but I don't consider it as an introductory course. You should first do the Andrew Ng course.
